Over 200 participated in this gala evening
celebrating ten years of transforming lives of children living in
China’s orphanages. The evening was also a chance to honor Dr. David
P. Roye, Jr., for his leadership and vision as our Medical Director.

Gena Palumbo, President and Founder hosted the
event and thanked the many who have contributed to the success of
this organization and the difference it has made in so many lives.
Philip LaRussa, MD provided an insight to one of the child’s lives
who has been helped by CCPF – Shao Gao received a gift surgery from
CCPF last year, and stayed with Dr. LaRussa’s family while she was
in the US. Cynthia Sparer, Executive Director of the Morgan Stanley
Children’s Hospital of New York-Presbyterian honored Dr. Roye for
his remarkable work with his patients in New York, and his boundless
energy to provide care around the world. Joshua Hyman, MD, Board
Member and colleague of Dr. Roye’s described a man all could admire,
and few could keep up with.

The evening also included entertainment with
dancers from the Laurel Project, as well as active silent auction
and live auction participation from all attendees.
The event raised $65,000 that will be used
directly for future mission work.
