In the right seat

Our young friend who lives in an orphanage has full cognitive capacities but has certain physical disabilities that were preventing her from learning. Our team of highly trained physical therapists began by measuring her arm-reach and her height. Since she has mobility in her index finger, using a keyboard is essential to her education as she grows. The therapists found the right type of chair to give her the most support and a table that was at the right height for her. Exercises to keep her finger mobile were also prescribed. Once she was set-up, the results were immediate and she now has the opportunity to continue to be educated. This kind of one-on-one rehabilitative training is transformative. It improves children’s health, quality of life and lays the foundation for their future.
